Information Architecture: In collaboration with SNHU stakeholders and other Miller Systems team members, Rob helped SNHU develop an information architecture strategy to prioritize “SNHU Online,” but remain easily navigable by on-campus students and faculty. Although the design has since been changed, the core IA solutions remain in place to this day.
Wireframing: With the IA strategy in place, Rob drafted dozens of wireframes and functional specifications (hundreds of pages of documentation!) corresponding to the variety of purpose-built experiences required to implement SNHU’s strategy. These detailed plans guided the content management implementation and served as the framework for the graphic design team.
Content Management: Rob and the content management team at Miller Systems collaborated with SNHU designers and developers to implement templates based on the IA, functional specs, and graphic design. Not only did Rob help to develop the CMS templates in use for the website, but also created special tools for managing the content migration and site readiness effort within the CMS itself.
